Tomorrow morning I am having the first of two cataract operations, this time on my left eye. I will be off for a couple of days until I get used to seeing with the “refurbished” eye.

Hi Elizabeth! I’m still enjoying reading your blog – even if I don’t comment every time. I love ice skating, for example… but also I’ve just taken my Mum in for her second cataract op. (I took her in for her first in October). It’s all gone fine and it looks as if the second one has improved her sight even more than the first. So I hope it’s the same for you and that you find you have a clear, bright world ahead of you!
