I was delighted to be able to watch this earlier, on John Rieber’s Twitter link. His wfe Alex is the producer on the show, and she arranged for Jennie’s appearance.
Nobody deserved that accolade more than Jennie. She is a truly inspirational teacher, and a lovely lady.

Thanks for sharing this! It’s such a small world! My brother shared Jennie’s post on her experience on the show and I visited and followed her blog. My sister-in-law is executive producer of the show so I’m very familiar with Kelly’s show but hadn’t watched the clip yet. 🙂

I had it circled on my calendar and watched it yesterday with my wife. As a retired educator, Jennie is the type of person we need as head of the Department of Education. She understands children and what they need.
